In moments that test a community, leadership matters. So does generosity. When tragedy struck with Flight 5342 on January 29, 2025, you stepped forward, making it possible for the Wichita Foundation (WF) to respond with speed, care and intention through ICT Together.
ICT Together was a community led response fund established by WF in the wake of the midair collision that took 67 lives. It was created to support families affected by the crash, aid first responders and coordinate recovery efforts with partners in Wichita and Washington, D.C. Your support helped transform a local effort into a nationwide commitment to compassion and healing.

ICT Together demonstrated WF’s role as a convener and connector. By partnering with the Greater Washington Community Foundation and its DCA Together Relief Fund, your generosity reached people efficiently and with intention. This collaboration showed what’s possible when community foundations align across regions to meet a shared moment with purpose.
All eligible families had the opportunity to apply for financial support and all ICT Together funds have been fully disbursed. Your gifts were stewarded with transparency and care, ensuring help reached those who needed it most.
