How can we help nonprofit leaders navigate the realities of leading an organization? This question sparked NonprofitGO Founder and Executive Director Vickie Kline to launch a new Magnify Nonprofit Certification Program, supported by the Nonprofit Elevation Fund at WF.
Unveiled on January 24, Magnify is a six-month program designed to equip nonprofit leaders with education and training resources to maximize their organization for long-term impact.
“For this pilot program, 12 nonprofits from Wichita are participating,” said Kline. “These leaders are being exposed to new information that is vital to the success of their organization.”
The inaugural cohort is learning from nonprofit sector experts and practitioners on essential topics such as equity and inclusion, finance, insurance, leadership, taxes and more. The sessions provide a space for nonprofit leaders to engage in discussions and exchange ideas.
“We recognize the value of our nonprofit sector,” said WF Director of Nonprofit and Donor Connections James Woods. “NonprofitGO’s Magnify program opens a continuous learning path for agency leaders to readily apply to their organization and make a lasting impact on Wichita.”
