ICT Together: A Community United in Healing

Our hearts remain with the 67 lives lost – passengers, crew, and service members – by the tragic midair collision of Flight 5342 on January 29. In the wake of this unimaginable tragedy, donors from Wichita and across the country came together to honor those lost and uplift those affected.  

Thanks to the generosity of many, more than $300,000 has been raised to date. These funds are being deployed in phases to provide meaningful support to families and communities. As part of this effort, we partnered with the Greater Washington Community Foundation and their DCA Together Relief Fund to help ensure a coordinated and compassionate response across regions:

• Emergency relief for first responders and those on-site immediately following the collision.
• Direct financial assistance to families of the victims.

Where the donations have gone (as of June 2025)

• Immediate support: Partnered with Food on the Stove to provide meals and supplies to emergency personnel on the ground in the days following the collision.
• Family Assistance: In March, we launched a financial assistance application for impacted families. To date, 29 families have received support to help meet their most immediate and self-identified needs. All impacted families were eligible to apply, with separate support for the figure skating community provided by the U.S. Figure Skating Foundation.
