Coming Together for ICT

March 12, 2025 | News

Our hearts go out to the families of those impacted by the tragic collision of Flight 5342 and a U.S. military helicopter from Wichita, Kansas (ICT) and Washington, D.C. (DCA). In times of need, Wichita stands together.

ICT Together, managed by the Wichita Foundation, is a community-led response to support those affected by this evolving tragedy. In close coordination and partnership with the Greater Washington Community Foundation and its DCA Together Relief Fund, we’ll collectively provide immediate and long-term assistance, ensuring those affected receive the care, resources, and support they need during this difficult time.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will adjust our efforts to meet the community’s evolving needs, including:

  • Direct assistance - Support for impacted families and first responders
  • Community support - Resources for local nonprofits and organizations aiding in recovery efforts

This effort has been strengthened by the generosity of local businesses and partners, including Bubba’s 33, Chicken N Pickle, Love of Character, Mokas, and Subaru of Wichita, who have stepped up through fundraising and awareness efforts. Additionally, ICT Together extended support to first responders in Washington, D.C., through Food on the Stove, ensuring those on the front lines are cared for as they serve in the wake of this tragedy.

Wichita is strongest when we come together—ICT Together is one way we can support our neighbors in need. Donate today or visit ict-together.org for more information.
