At the Wichita Foundation, we believe everyone should have access to the tools and information they need. That’s why we’re committed to making our digital spaces as accessible and welcoming as possible, whether it’s our website, documents, giving portals, or social platforms.
In late 2024, we took a deep dive into our website’s accessibility with the help of certified testers with diverse abilities from the Envision Workforce Innovation Center. They evaluated our site using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA, a high standard for making web content usable for people with visual, motor, cognitive, and other accessibility needs.
Because of this review, we’ve made important updates to improve navigation, readability, and overall usability – ensuring that more people can easily engage with our work. And we’re not done. Accessibility isn’t a one-time project; it’s something we’re committed to improving every day.
If you run into any accessibility barriers while using our website, we’d love to hear from you. Let us know at info@wichitafoundation.org or give us a call at 316-264-4880.
Together, we can make sure our digital spaces are open to everyone.
